Dr. Jo, as she's affectionately called, is not only the founder of AIM for the Handicapped and author of Adventures In Movement, she is the glue that holds AIM together. Working 18 hours a day is the norm for this energetic lady who never tires and always has time for one of the AIM kids, their parents, her staff or anyone needing her. Whether she's talking one to one or speaking to thousands, she is always fun and interesting. She is an outstanding speaker who holds her audience mesmerized and is constantly in demand.
Dr. Jo is loved and admired by all who know her and she has received numerous honors and awards for her dedicated efforts in working with the disabled. One of her most cherished is the Alpha Delta Kappa International Woman of Distinction Award. She shares this honor with Pearl Buck, Shirley Temple Black, Dale Evans Rogers, Indira Gandhi and other outstanding women. Dr. Jo Geiger
